How do I choose a topic for my speech?

A speech consists of many elements. A topic, a body, an ending. But those are just structural points. But what makes a speech more than just mere words; what makes a speech more than just a written material; what makes a speech- speech? 

Well it is a combination of a lot of things. But all it boils down to in the end is- the emotional roller coaster of the audience. Firstly, a speech as the name suggests, is spoken. Know your worth

Now do not take this condescendingly. This goes both ways, if you are not a prolific speaker with a world full of knowledge under your belt, there is no need of giving a flamboyant and over the top speech with all the flowery words you can conjure up. It will most likely backfire. This will not be because you are any less of a human being, but because you simply lack experience, It will ultimately prove counterproductive to what your aim should be,

Likewise,. If you are known for speeches around the room, and you do not live up to the standards you have set for yourself, the result will be the same. So before choosing a topic, always know where you stand in public speaking.   

Speak what you feel
