How to Download Twitter videos on iPhone, iPad

As one of the most popular social media platform, Twitter does not allow user to download videos to their iPhone/ iPad. This is because of the copyright of the platform. However, what if you want to save Twitter videos to your iPhone for offline watching?

In this article, we are going to show you How to Download any Twitter videos to your Camera Roll to be able to watch them anytime you want.

How to Download Twitter videos on iPhone, iPad

Step 1. Find the Twitter video you want to download. You can use either the Twitter official app or Safari browser to do this.

Step 2. Tap Share icon at the bottom right of the tweet, then select Copy link.

Step 3. Once you have the link, go to Twitter video download using your Safari browser. Long press inside the search box, choose Paste to add the link to your Twitter video, and then tap Download Mp4 or Download MP4 HD. (You may see Safari open a new page to load an ads, feel free to close it).

Step 4. After a moment, the site will generate a download link for your video. 

Step 5. Long press on the Right click here and choose… button until you see a prompt to save the file. Scroll down the page, then tap Download Linked File to save it to your Downloads folder. 

Tap the Download icon on the toolbar to check its progress while waiting.

Step 6. We almost done. From here, you just need to move the video into your Camera Roll folder.

Open Files app in your iPhone/ iPad, tap the Downloads under the Favorites header to open your Downloads folder. 

Tap the file you just downloaded to open it. Then tap the Share icon at the bottom-left corner of the app (if you don’t see it, tap once anywhere inside the screen). 

On the Share page, scroll down until you see the Save Video button. Tap that button to save your video in your Camera Roll.

You’re done! Open the Photos app on your iPhone/ iPad and you should see your new video. It will appear alongside your most recent photos. You’ll also find it on the Albums tab if you scroll down to Videos under the Media Types header.
