Under the MA degree course, you can take admission to various MA Specializations like History, Hindi, Political Science and Sanskrit. These programs are offered through the Department of Humanities and Social Science of the university in Arts stream.

Eligibility Criteria for MA in Various Specializations
If you want to know the eligibility criteria for getting admission to an MA program, you have to go with your preferred specialization. The detailed eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
MA History: In order to take admission to MA History, it is required to have at least 60% marks in aggregate in your BA (History).
In case you are taking admission through entrance mode, then you need to present a score of 50% in the last qualifying examination. The bachelor degree examination must be from a recognized and UGC approved institution.
MA Political Science: Political Science is one of the best specializations preferred by the students who want to pursue P.hD in the same subjects or want to take admission to Law college. For taking admission to MA Political Science, you need to secure at least 60% marks in your bachelor degree examination from a recognized university or institution.
For entrance mode admission: submit the result bearing 50% marks in aggregate from a UGC approved institution.
MA Sanskrit: For taking admission to this specialization, it is recommended to present at least 60% marks in UG level degree in Sanskrit. You need to score at least 50% in aggregate in any specialization for entrance based examination.
MA Hindi: Students must have passed Bachelor of Arts in Hindi with at least 65% marks in aggregate for direct or merit-based admission. In case you have passed a bachelor degree other than Hindi (H) specialization, then you have to appear for the entrance examination for admission to the MA Hindi program with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The Fee Structure is one of the most important aspects of the admission procedure. In case you are about to take admission to the DU SOL MA degree program. You must want to know the fee for the respective program in which you want to take admission. The fee structure for each specializations in MA degree program are mentioned below:
- MA Sanskrit: 11480 INR
- MA Hindi: 11780 INR
- MA Political Science: 11480 INR
- MA History: 8980 INR
